What the claims cover, in plain language

Claim 1 - a dynamic display stand comprising a supporting counter (1) and a glass cover (2). A display device (3) sits between the middle of the counter and the glass cover. The display device includes a limiting block (4), a central column (14), a driving motor (7) and multiple supporting rods (10). Inside the limiting block is a guide sliding ring (5) with an irregular undulating profile. A fixing plate (13) is inside the central column near its bottom, with connecting rods (8) pivoting on it at equal intervals. Sliding ball blocks (22) on the connecting rods ride in the chute of the guide sliding ring. Movable rods I (21) connect the rods to connecting plates II (18). The central column has holes for the supporting rods to pass through. Each supporting rod has a movable hole (17) containing a movable plate (11) with a display plate (15) on top, a dust cover (9) above that, and a label plate (12) below. The driving motor’s end has a bearing column (6) with connecting grooves (25) that mate with arc-shaped connecting blocks (24) on the central column. An LED lamp strip, battery pack and control assembly are located near the top of the central column.

Claim 2 - the driving motor is located inside the supporting counter and fixed by bolts; the bearing column is cylindrical. Claim 3 - the supporting rod is integrally rectangular and positioned on the central column; the end of the movable plate is arc-shaped.

This is a simplified reading for orientation only. The legal scope is defined by the exact claim wording in the official Chinese document.

What this means for US production

This patent was filed only in China and is currently in force there (until at most 2041-12-20, provided annual fees are paid). It has no US or other foreign counterpart. Making or selling this exact design in China needs the owner’s permission.

Two points to settle early:

  • Other patents may exist. Motorized retail displays and rotating pedestals are covered by various utility and design patents globally. Although no foreign patents cite this specific Chinese filing, other companies hold patents on similar moving-shelf mechanisms, so a freedom-to-operate (FTO) review of the guide-ring reciprocating mechanism and overall layout is recommended before tooling.
  • Electrical safety. The stand integrates a motor, battery pack and LED lighting inside an enclosed counter, requiring careful thermal management and electrical isolation planning for the US market.

Customization and manufacturing

What can be customized

AreaOptions
DimensionsOverall height, glass cover width and depth to be confirmed in design
Counter materialWood, MDF, metal or acrylic panels
Motion profileShape of the guide sliding ring determines the stroke and speed of the vertical movement
Number of armsQuantity of supporting rods and display plates arranged at equal intervals
LightingLED color temperature, brightness and placement
PowerBattery capacity or wired AC adapter option
Glass typeClear, tinted or tempered glass for the cover

Things to plan for (US market)

  • UL 962 - standard for household and commercial furnishings involving electrical components; applies to motorized display stands plugged into mains or using batteries.
  • FCC Part 15 - if the control assembly uses wireless communication (e.g., Bluetooth or RF remote), it must meet FCC limits for unintentional or intentional radiators.
  • UN 38.3 - required for shipping lithium battery packs powering the motor and LEDs.
  • California Prop 65 - materials in the counter, glass seals, plastics and battery components must be screened for listed chemicals.

How a project runs

  1. Inquiry - target dimensions, number of display plates, power source and quantity.
  2. Design - engineering the guide sliding ring profile, central column linkage, motor torque and structural frame.
  3. Prototype - 3D-printed or machined samples to verify the reciprocating motion, noise level and stability.
  4. Pilot run - assembling a small batch for cycle testing, thermal checks on the motor and battery, and glass fitment.
  5. Production - machining the columns and rods, molding plastic parts, cutting glass, assembling electronics and final inspection.

Quantities & timeline

The central column, bearing column and guide sliding ring require precision machining or dedicated molds depending on the chosen material. Glass covers are cut and edged per size. Electrical certification tests (UL, FCC, UN 38.3) add time before volume shipment. Send us your target dimensions, number of display plates, power preference, estimated quantity and timeline and we will reply with options.
