What the claims cover, in plain language
Claim 1 - a display stand with a rotating display table, a stand body, a motor, an electric telescopic rod, a display screen and a base. The table is turned by the motor in the center of the body; the body also holds a battery and a controller, with a control panel outside. The body is joined to the base by the telescopic rod, the screen is fixed to the rod, and the base has universal casters. The rotating table is a hollow cube whose four sides are display faces, each with an LED tube above and two sockets below; insert rods in the sockets, held by locking bolts, carry display racks with fixing grooves. Motor, rod, screen, panel and LEDs connect to the controller, which connects to the battery.
Claim 2 - the casters have brake pads. Claim 3 - a further feature described in the patent.
This is a simplified reading for orientation only. The legal scope is defined by the exact claim wording in the official Chinese document.
What this means for US production
This patent was filed only in China and has lapsed, so it no longer restricts anyone in China either. It has no US or other foreign counterpart.
Two points to settle early:
- Other patents may exist. Motorized turntables, lift pedestals and screen-equipped retail displays are covered by many US utility and design patents held by display-fixture companies; a freedom-to-operate (FTO) review should come before tooling.
- Load and stability. Cube size, exhibit weight and lift height decide motor torque, column rating and base footprint; these are set together in design.
Customization and manufacturing
What can be customized
| Area | Options |
|---|---|
| Cube | Size, acrylic or wood faces, glass vitrine top, lockable cover |
| Rotation | Speed, direction, stop-at-face mode, remote control |
| Lift | Stroke and load rating of the column; fixed-height version |
| Screen | 10-27 inch LCD, touch screen, media player or network content |
| Power | Battery capacity, mains with battery backup |
| Finish & branding | Powder coat, laminate, vinyl wraps, logo panels |
Things to plan for (US market)
- UL 962 or NRTL listing - powered furnishings and fixtures with motors, lift columns and screens are normally listed as a whole; trade-show venues and retailers often require it.
- FCC Part 15 - the controller, screen and any wireless remote must meet FCC limits.
- Battery transport - a lithium battery pack needs UN 38.3 testing; lead-acid packs have their own shipping rules.
- Tip-over stability - with the column raised and the screen mounted, the stand must stay stable on its casters; we test with brakes on and off.
How a project runs
- Inquiry - exhibit types, cube size, screen, power and quantity.
- Design - frame, turntable drive, lift column, controller and screen mount.
- Prototype - one working stand tested for rotation, lift, stability and run time.
- Pilot run - small batch for safety and FCC testing and packing.
- Production - volume production, crated shipping.
Quantities & timeline
The body and base need sheet-metal or CNC panel tooling, the cube needs acrylic or wood fabrication, and the motor, lift column, screen and battery are sourced and integrated with a controller board. Most development time goes into the controller and stability testing. Send us your exhibit types, cube size, screen size, quantity and target price and we will reply with options.
