What the claims cover, in plain language

Claim 1 - a scraping device with a housing, a support movable inside it carrying several scraping pieces on two opposite sides, and a gear transmission. When the device moves over a surface, the transmission moves the support so that the scraping piece in front lifts away and the one behind presses on the surface and wipes.

Claims 2-5 - the transmission has a sliding block and a sliding plate linked by gears; the block moves backward relative to the direction of travel and makes the plate swing the support (claim 2); a friction element on the block contacts the surface (claim 3) through a hole in the housing (claim 4) and is removable (claim 5). Claims 6-8 - a shaft with a first gear meshing a rack on the sliding plate (claim 6), driven by a rack on the block and a second gear (claim 7), or by a motor controlled by a processing unit (claim 8). Claims 9-12 - pressing surfaces on the plate, and limiting features (holes and ribs) that limit and hold its travel. Claims 13-17 - the support is two parallel mounting beams and at least two cross beams, hinged in the housing by a shaft or hinge seat, with slots for the blades, and may be one molded part. Claim 18 - the support moves through 5-25° relative to the housing center.

What this means for US production

This patent was filed only in China. It is still in force in China, so making or selling this design in China would need the owner’s permission while it lasts (at most until 2030-07-13). It has no US or other foreign counterpart and does not restrict the design outside China.
