About this category

Car accessories sell to drivers, passengers and fleets who spend hours in the same seat. The best-selling products are the ones that make a car more comfortable or better organized without tools or permanent changes to the vehicle - things that clamp to headrest posts, slide between seats or clip to vents, and that look right in a modern interior.

The first patent in this collection is a car headrest pillow. A bracket clamps to the two headrest posts, with one clamp movable to suit different post spacings. A telescopic arm with a push button sets how far forward the pillow sits, and the pillow frame has several height positions. The pillow itself has a firm middle and two side wings joined by spring-loaded ratchets, so each wing clicks forward to cradle a sleeping passenger’s head and folds back flat for driving. The second is a rooftop box whose hard frames lift on gas struts into a tent with a door and skylight, and nest back down into a luggage box for the drive.
